Look at Mark Carney’s first 2 months as PM || The okay and the very bad

On April 8, 2025, Mark Carney was unfortunately elected Prime Minister of Canada.
While Carney didn’t even live in Canada for a decade prior to becoming PM, the Canadians continued with their blind sheep mentality and voted red! Let’s review what Mark Carney has done since election night of April 28th. (List not in dated order).

1% tax cut: Carney promised to cut taxes on the middle-class by a crazy 1%. You catch the sarcasm? Yes, it is nice to see tax cuts, but this came a little too late and with a couple of issues. First, this is an extremely low percentage of a tax cut. Canadians have suffered for 10 years under the Liberals, and now that a new face has come to power, all they could really come up with was 1%? What makes it more crazy is that this only applies to the lowest tax bracket. If you are going to only apply this to a single tax bracket, at least up the percentage! This is nothing but a slap in the face of Canadians. Yes it’s a “nice start” but considering all that we have been through, it’s not even close enough.
Attempts to Confiscate PAL holders’ Firearms: Reports have shown that the government is testing a new plan, where the Liberals are paying police to confiscate firearms from legal PAL holders. This operation is being tested in some parts of Canada such as Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. It is estimated that the Liberals have spent $2.8 million on just Winnipeg’s confiscations, while other for-profit organizations will get $10.7 million for their efforts.
Liberals say NO to releasing a financial budget: According to Carney’s Liberals and the Finance Minister, the government will not release a financial budget this year, but will instead have a fall economic statement. No budget, but don’t worry! There will be a financial statement near the END of the year…
Carney’s chosen Housing Minister says NO to lowering costs: Canada’s new Housing and Infrastructure Minister, Gregor Robertson says he doesn’t think housing prices need to come down, and that the federal government should focus on building more homes. Yes, let’s not lower housing costs, but instead force Canadians to pay for expensive housing!
Carney’s Liberals push for Bill C-2: This bill, alleged to help with our border crisis, essentially turns Canada into an authoritarian state that is giving police unquestionable powers, and restricts cash use for over $10,000 purchases/donations.
Carney’s chosen SAFETY MINISTER holds ties to terrorists: Mark Carney, who has made Gary Anandasangaree the acting minister. Anandasangaree, born in Sri Lanka, has connections to two major terrorist groups in his home country.
Carney’s government doesn’t know how many illegals are living in Canada: Immigration Minister Lena Diab stated that the Liberal government doesn’t know exactly how many illegals are in Canada. Diab says that the federal government is depending on illegal immigrants to voluntarily depart Canada.
Carney gives over $2 billion in support to Ukraine at G7 meeting: It just doesn’t stop! On the last day of the 2025 G7 summit, Minister Mark Carney announced wide-ranging new support for Ukraine as he met with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, including new sanctions against Russia and $2 billion in military funding.
Carney’s Liberals voted to continue with the 2023 federal mandate on banning gas-powered-cars by 2035: In a 194-141 vote, Liberal stopped the CPC motion to repeal the 2035 ban on Gas powered cars. The Liberals still continue to uphold the idea of forcing Canadians to only buy electric cars.
