Former CPC leader, Erin O’Toole, told Justin Trudeau to just “move on” and resign in order for an election to be called and have Trudeau ousted from office.
O’Toole also made a slightly positive remark about Trudeau, complimenting his time in office saying, “He can be proud of some of the things he’s done, but now I think he is a distraction for the national debate for his own caucus,”. Trudeau is the issue of multiple different scandals and crises in this country, and should not be “proud” of anything.
Liberals within the party may pull out the Reform Act against Trudeau, with only 20% of the caucus needed to trigger a review for the leader and vote on approval.
This act was first sued in 2022 by the CPC, where they ousted failed leader Erin O’Toole.
