It turns out that making something bad and illegal look good and legal on paper isn’t a good idea. It now appears that Ford’s Ontario PC party is trying to end supervised drug usage sites, after previously approving them. As the government funded these idiotic sites to begin with, now they will be completely removed, this is a continuous waste of taxpayer money. All sites within 200 metres of schools or any child care facilities must be closed by the end of March 2025. “Communities, parents and families across Ontario have made it clear that the presence of drug consumption sites near schools and daycares is leading to serious safety problems…” said a spokesperson for the health ministry.
