Toronto taxpayers to pay for gender-affirming care for city staff

The city of Toronto could soon be using taxpayer money to help pay for municipal employees to receive gender-affirming care.
“The City of Toronto is introducing expanded gender-affirming health benefits for employees as a meaningful step towards supporting a more inclusive and equitable workplace, reflecting the diversity of Toronto’s workforce and helping the city remain a competitive employer,” the City of Toronto media office released. While Canadians are struggling to see a doctor, living poorly on the streets, with no support or tax cuts, those in office are creating more and more stupid ways to steal our money. “Based on market analysis of anticipated utilization, the estimated cost to implement this benefit is approximately $417,700,” said government documents.
