Statistics Canada: Immigrants own more homes than Canadians

According to a recent post by Statistics Canada, taken from a 2021 census, immigrants in Canada have significantly higher rates of home ownership than Canadians.
“The analysis of the 2021 Census data shows that immigrants typically exhibit higher housing occupancy in the ownership and rental markets compared with Canadian-born individuals,” said Statistics Canada. Immigrants per 1,000 people occupy 461 housing units while Canadians occupy only 357 housing units per 1,000 people. The boom of immigrants entering this country, and the leadership of the Liberals have caused this to happen.
