Protests continue in the major cities of Athens and Thessaloniki, as Greeks in support of the victims of the Tempi crash, meet at Syntagma Square (Athens) and at the Venizelos Statue (Thessaloniki) once again.
Two protesters have so far been injured, while one police officer is being sent to a military hospital for his injuries. Some protesters have once again put on their hoods and began throwing Moltovs and rocks at police officers. New Democracy parliamentary representative Thanos Plevris, said in response to the Moltovs that “The parties that have promoted the idea of a delegitimized government are now rushing to support what is happening outside with the Molotovs. I understand that for the Left, normality is something they do not desire. The citizens who protested had every right to express their views, but among them were individuals who sought violence. The government will not allow this. We will not go back ten years,”.

Looking closer inside parliament, 94 Members of Parliament (MPs) have tabled a motion for a vote of no confidence to start an election and remove Mitsotakis as Prime Minister.
The government will now begin a 3-day debate, which will follow a vote by MPs to decide if Mitsotakis should be removed as leader. On Friday night, the final day, MPs will vote and Mitsotakis will only be removed if there are at least 151 votes in support. “Clapping for a Prime Minister who always lies shows that you are in favour of the inhuman ideas that he supports! And so, if the Prime Minister thinks that these protests do not mean the Greek people want change, and he is not afraid, then call for an election now and let the Greek people vote! Let’s hear what they really want” said Leader of the ‘Greek Solution’ Kyriakos Velopoulos.
