During a press conference today, PPC leader Maxime Bernier vowed to defend Canada against Trump’s term in office as U.S. President, and spoke more about the U.S.-Canada trade war caused by Trudeau.
“Whether we agree with Donald Trump’s approach or not, we have no choice but to adapt to the situation. Demonizing the president, as some of our media does, or boycotting American products, is a counterproductive and completely useless reaction that will have no impact in Washington.” Said Bernier. The leader, in his political riding of Beauce, announced that he would once again take part in this election running for the riding, and explained the economic situation within Canada. Bernier expressed how Canadian politicians’ response to a ‘dollar to dollar’ trade war is “suicidal”, and that will only lead to hurting Canadians. “We simply cannot win a trade war with the United States. It is very unlikely that Trump will back down. All this will do is provoke a massive economic crisis in Canada until we are forced to capitulate,” he said.
As Canada approaches a potential early Federal election in the coming months, Maxime Bernier stands as the only politician who speaks with reason, and doesn’t copy what every other mass globalist politician says or does. The choice is your’s Canada!
