Freeland wishes to scrap the Carbon tax in Liberal leadership bid

Former finance minister Chrystia Freeland has not formally announced her bid to enter the Liberal leadership contest, but has already made statements saying she would scrap the carbon tax.
Keep in mind, this is the tax that while working under Trudeau, she defended for years and made claims about its necessity. The Liberals are once again showing their lying side. Pandering to voters, switching ideals left and right just to gain votes and yet continuing to stay on the same path of destroying this country.
“That’s why Chrystia Freeland will replace the consumer carbon price with a system that will work within our federation and will be developed collaboratively with provinces and territories. She looks forward to working together on fighting the climate crisis,” said a source. Freeland is expected to announce a leadership bid in the coming days. She has already garnered caucus support from Health Minister Mark Holland, Fisheries Minister Diane Lebouthillier and other MPs.
