Where is Mitsotakis saying that Greece is doing economically better? Because according to EU statistics, Greeks are topping the charts in all the bad categories.
According to a recent tweet by EuroStats, Greeks spend on average 35.3% of their disposable income on housing, the highest compared to the rest of the EU in 2023. Germany spends 25.2%, Bulgaria 21.2%, France 17.9%, Romania 19%. All countries, poor and rich, all have much more favourable results compared to Greece.
