Quebec Liberal Caucus calling for Trudeau to step down

There is a call from Quebec Liberal MPs for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to step down before the next federal election.
Stephane Lauzon, chair and leader of the Quebec Liberal caucus, sent a public message to Trudeau asking for his resignation. Liberals all across the country are now joining in the efforts to take Trudeau out of power. “The prime minister should step away,” said MP Alexandra Mendès. This growing call for Trudeau’s resignation could lead to significant shifts within the Liberal Party, potentially impacting its unity and strategy. If Trudeau steps down, the party will need to quickly rally around a new leader to maintain voter confidence and cohesion. Such a transition might also influence the party’s policy direction and electoral prospects in the upcoming election.
