Gerry Butts says Trudeau is less likely to remain leader of the Party

Former chief adviser and close friend to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Gerald Butts, stated that he doesn’t think Trudeau will stay on to lead the Liberals in the next election.
In the mist of Freeland abandoning Trudeau, and more and more MPs calling for Trudeau’s removal, Trudeau will have a lot of thinking to do over the break. “The Liberals are back now to where they were before Trudeau took over the party in 2013” said Butts. The Liberals are in trouble, and Trudeau now has to read the writing on the walls. Trudeau will have to decide whether to stay the course or resign. He will have to carefully weigh his options and decide what is best for the party and the country.
