Latinopoulou calls for the end of the Polytechnic Uprising celebrations

In an effort to seem relevant and side with the right-wing, Aphrodite Latinopoulou made a video, calling for the end of the celebration of the Polytechnic Uprising in Public Education.
Her idea is a good one, but do not be a fool, she is trying to buy support.
“unfortunately, it is a ceremonial holiday in public schools.” followed by “any teacher or professor who wants to celebrate it with their students can very well do so in their free time.” she said. Latinopoulou also went on to expose myths about the uprising,
Such as:
-There were not thousands of deaths, but 40 deaths, 24 identified and 16 that were never identified.
-According to official reports, no one was killed inside the Polytechnic. No one was killed under the tracks of any tank.
-The Polytechnic was a student uprising of a few hundred young students, in no way was supported by thousands of people.
-The Polytechnic did not take down Papadopoulos and the JUNTA. Dictator Georgios Papadopoulos was overthrown by a new coup on November 25, 1973, and followed by the much harsher Junta of Ioannidis, which later fell due to instability after the war in Cyprus.
