“The PRC’s expansive and aggressive cyber program presents the most sophisticated and active state cyber threat to Canada today,” said the Communications Security Establishment Canada.
The agency’s threat assessment indicated that such advances from Communsit China have the ability to cause serious problems for Canada in cyber security. China’s cyber warfare has the capabilities to meddle in Canada’s democracy, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service said in May. Canada is a very popular target for cyber warfare, as Canadians noticed this, when China interfered in previous Canadian elections.
