Aris back on top:
Looking at the end of this week’s matches of the Super League, we notice that Aris is back on top, leading with 18 points. Aris achieved this when they tied with PAO 1-1 in today’s match. Aris’ Loren Moron scored a 72-minute goal to tie the game before it ended, gaining them extra points.
Aek fails for the 3rd time:
An embarrassing match for AEK, as they lose 1-0 to Panserraikos FC. AEK maintained 78% ball possession and 28 shots on net, and yet couldn’t at least tie the game. What’s more surprising is that AEK played all their star players; Garcia, Martial, and Pierrot. AEK did however make a notable change to their format, using a 4-4-2 form. This is the 3rd time AEK has failed to make any gains. First a loss to Panetolikos, then a tie with PAOK, and now this.
OFI crushes PAOK:
OFI Crete shocks the world as they win against PAOK 2-1 in their match today.
Despite having only 42% ball possession, OFI made 6 shots on target, successfully scoring 2 of them. PAOK’s loss led them to lose their first place spot in the League.
BONUS* Olympiakos loses to Tripoli:
The winners of the UEFA conference league must have underestimated Tripoli, because they ended their match with a 1-0, giving Asteras Tripolis a nice victory.
