The Greek government, with its traitor prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, wants to take advantage of the poor struggling Greeks, and trick them into turning their island into a 3rd world region.
With article 26 par. 4 of the Ministry of Finance bill entitled “Value Added Tax Code” passed yesterday (9/10) by the Hellenic Parliament, the government is trying to buy the consciences of Greek islanders.
With this new bill, the government plans to reduce the VAT rate (Goods and services tax, such as GST in Canada) by 30% for islands such as Kos, Leros, Samos and Lesvos. But here is the trick: Islands can only have VAT reduced if they have immigration stations operating throughout the islands. Greeks are angry with this new attempt to bribe the Greek Aegean, but the government does not care. Greek newspapers post about the new news, and predict that with the crisis in the Middle East, more immigrants and refugees will flood to these islands and push the Greeks out. Even the official Greek government website has spoken about these newspapers, saying that this new law is nothing new and it has been around for years. The Greek government does not even try to hide its treason! Greek politician Andreas Vorillas from the ‘NIKI’ political party, stated that it is unacceptable for Greeks to be forced to build refugee stations in order to receive lower taxes. Especially islands where there is such low population.
