The parents of a 13-year-old girl from B.C who died from a drug overdose due to poor mental health testified before a parliamentary committee.
After learning the news, CPC ‘Conservative’ Leader Pierre Poilievre said he supports mandatory, involuntary drug and psychiatric treatment for kids and prisoners who are found to be incapable of making decisions for themselves. Different provinces are testing and considering this new strategy to combat the overdose crisis across the country.
