Greek Farmers still being billed for electricity, even after the floods destroyed the grid

Alarm in Greece as Energy and Environment Minister Theodoros Skylakakis, hands out bills to farmers in Greece after the 2023 floods. The floods have destroyed all electricity towers in the area, mostly in Thessaly, and yet farmers are still being forced to pay their monthly electricity bill.
Greeks are calling on the Minister to remove these unjust and aggressive rules, yet nothing has happened yet. The infrastructure of the electricity grid was not working for many during July 2023, to September 2024, and yet people still had to pay their bills that they could not use.
