Toronto Deputy Mayor calls to make illegals legal, through illegal means

Toronto’s deputy mayor, Ausma Malik, called for “regularization” of illegal immigrants in the city. Already over a decade ago, Toronto was declared a “sanctuary city” for illegals, and the city is paying for this mistake dramatically. Now, city hall continues to go down this dangerous path it created for itself. 40% of Toronto’s shelters are taken up not by Torontonians, but by illegal immigrants in the city. “As we continue to see anti-immigrant rhetoric on the rise in Canada and around the world, we amplify calls from community leaders and advocates for an immediate, broad and inclusive regularization program that provides pathways to permanent resident status for all undocumented residents,” Malik says. “Together, we will continue to dismantle systems of colonialism and anti-Black racism” she continues. Malik calls all this as Racism, yet she is a Muslim woman in a position of power, Olivia Chow is an Asian woman in a position of power, Mark Saunders was a black man as former chief of police. Where exactly does Malik see racism coming from? In addition, if Malik wishes to make illegals citizens, there is a very simple process called entering the country legally. Malik’s proposed solutions are unnecessary and will only serve to exacerbate existing problems. I’m certain that you will be fast tracked on your way to becoming a Canadian citizen as soon as you follow the rules, apply to be a citizen, and enter the country legally. It’s that simple. It’s almost like this has been something people have been doing for centuries. Everyone in Europe, when entering Canada, takes tests, applies for applications, passes medical exams and background checks, and it all works out. Overall, this shows that Malik and Chow are in favor of letting lawbreakers go free.
