Mark Carney’s Admits Deficit Will surpass previous $61.9 Billion

What else were we expecting? A leftist wasting money and raising the national deficit?
Who would have guessed?
According to Mark Carney himself, he has admitted that our deficit will surpass last year’s $61.9 billion shortfall. Estimates from the CPC and the BLOC say that the deficit will range between $80 billion and $84 billion, the largest since the pandemic. “It looks like Mark Carney’s deficit will be even bigger than the one Justin Trudeau left behind,” said CPC leader Pierre Poilievre. No official budget has been tabled, and the Parliamentary Budget Office has questioned the goals of Carney’s book balance by 2029. “I don’t know that the government currently has fiscal anchors, which, of course, causes the people that I work with a considerable degree of concern at this point,” says interim Parliamentary Budget Officer Jason Jacques.
