Plevris: Enter illegally, go straight to jail

Minister of Migration and Asylum Thanos Plevris spoke about immigration, asylum, and smuggling networks in Greece.
“If your asylum is rejected and you stay in the country, the penalty will be imprisonment,” clarified the Minister. Plevris explicitly stated that if you enter Greece illegally, you will never be able to take advantage of any loopholes or passages to become legal in the future. “Once you enter the country illegally, you will never be legalized,” he made clear. Migrants who have their applications denied will be fitted with an ankle monitor to help mitigate the crime rate in Greece caused by the large presence of migrants.
These are some new best steps taken by Greece, and they comes as a surprise since it was Mitsotakis’ government that allowed all these illegals to enter from the beginning.
