Golden Dawn’s youth front took a trip to the monastery of Agios Georgios Feneos on July 13th, to remember the crimes committed by Communists during 1943–1944.
During those times, the Communists of EAM-ELAS, who had taken over it, used it as a concentration camp for their political opponents, but also for those who refused to join their ranks. Those who passed through the monastery gate were faced with horrific torture, followed by a quick, staged decision by a so-called “people’s court.”. In a speech, the youth front said:
“If the regime of the Metapolitesis decided to clear them of all their crimes, we do not forget and do not forgive. In difficult times, we remain guardians of the National Memory and continue to be there honoring all those who resisted and died at the hands of the bloodthirsty communists.”.A wreath was laid on behalf of the Golden Dawn Political Council.
