Maria Karystianou: Under Mitsotakis Greece is one of the most Corrupt country’s in Europe

The centre of the news headline, is Maria Karystianou, with the quote reading “The fallout strikes at the heart of one of Europe’s most corrupt countries.”
Karystianou is the mother of a 19-year-old daughter who was one of the tragic deaths in the incident. While the government told her that her daughter was killed instantly, audio reports claim otherwise. One of the fellow youths who died in the incident made a call to emergency services before their death, and in that recording you can hear the girls calling out to each other, one of them saying “Marthi, we are going to die, I love you”. The government is being accused of a cover-up, and while more and more evidence suggests so, the Mitsotakis government continues to take no responsibility. “Traditionally in Greece, politicians are never guilty of anything and this is the big problem.” said Karystianou.
