Today we celebrate our independence.
Every March 25th, the world lights up in Blue and white, as Greeks from around the world celebrate independence day. Greece and Cyprus traditionally celebrate this day with a national military parade for all to see. Today we celebrate our independence, commemorating the start of the War for Greek Independence in 1821 against the tyrannical Ottoman Empire.
