B.C.’s Leftist ‘safe supply’ Drug experiment has lead to many deaths

Since 2016, over 49,000 Canadians have died of fentanyl overdoses. In order to tackle the issue, the leftist NDP government in provincial power decided what better way to get rid of these numbers than by making all these drugs free and accessible to the people!
And that is exactly what happened. In 2020, British Columbia became the first jurisdiction in the world to launch a safe opioid supply policy, allowing individuals at high risk of overdose access to pharmaceutical-grade opioids free of charge. And that went just as well as you’d expect. A leaked B.C. government powerpoint was exposed, and the B.C. Conservatives took to the attack, stating that “Taxpayer-funded ‘safe supply’ drugs are flooding the streets, enriching organized crime, in some cases with diversion fraudulently facilitated by pharmacies and medical professionals,”. Remember when Trump suggested that Canada was a big factor in illegal border opioid trafficking? This all seems to add up. And yet the leftists in power have tricked Canadians to believe that this is not the case, and Canada doesn’t need to fix our borders. And now let’s instead tariff the USA and enter into a trade war. Lovely!
This is all a “Better of public trust” said former RCMP officer and now member of the B.C. legislature, Elenore Sturko. These drugs have flooded the streets of B.C. and are leading to more and more countless deaths. The opioid crisis in B.C. has reached alarming levels, with the introduction of free pharmaceutical-grade opioids exacerbating the issue. The B.C. Conservatives argue that this policy has inadvertently fueled organized crime and led to an increase in overdose deaths. Critics claim that the government’s approach has failed to address the root causes of the crisis, calling for a reevaluation of current strategies to prevent further tragedy.
