Kimberly Guilfoyle, a ‘close friend and ally’ of Trump, has been appointed US ambassador to Greece.
Only one small issue, Guilfoyle is very anti-Greek. In 2015, Kimberly Guilfoyle in an interview during the Greek financial crisis, referred to Greeks as “freeloaders” and called Greeks “dogs” that need to be punished. “It doesn’t matter if you made great yogurt. I don’t care.” she said, followed by “Get up in the morning. Go to work. You guys are retiring too early. And that’s part of the problem. You have politicians making out-of-control promises, buying votes with entitlements that they can’t support.”
At the same time, Guilfoyle is not completely wrong on the matter. Heck, the top 4 polling parties as of August 9, 2024, (according to POLITICO) were New Democracy, PASOK, SYRIZA, and then the KKE! The top parties that have always screwed over Greece, and caused Greece more issues during the crisis, are still on top!
