NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh has made comments on CPC Leader Pierre Poilievre’s pressure for an early election after the NDP-Liberal agreement was ended by Singh.
“I say directly to Pierre Poilievre, I’m not going to listen to you… I’m not going to listen to your advice. You want to destroy people’s lives. I want to build up a brighter future,” Singh said in response to Poilievre’s request for an early election. Even after breaking up the agreement with Trudeau, Singh said he would only help and listen to Trudeau since he is the Prime Minister, and work only with him on ways he sees as helping Canadians if the bills are proposed. “They’ve (Liberals) let them (Landlords) continue to exploit their tenants. This is wrong, and we know that Pierre Poilievre is not going to fix the problem,” said Singh.
