A new movement took form in Greece with the creation of the “Hellenic Revival – Greek Renaissance” party.

“The existing political and social situation of our country, led a serious portion of Greek citizens to seek refuge, in order to be protected from the rampage of the modern conquerors of our Nation. The indifference of politicians who held office in the recent history of Greece, gave foreigners the right to slander, to belittle our country and recently to want to buy it, without showing any respect to the cradle of human civilization, being seduced by speculative games and geopolitical expediencies.” – Hellenic Revival Website.

This movement acts as a refuge for any Greeks who are tired of all the politics in Greece, right vs left, and focuses more on just being Greek and our core values as a nation.
The group supports actions in favour of the Hellenic constitution, and protects the interests of Greeks, such as;
Leaving the Schengen Treaty so that Greeks in Greece are the only ones to decide who can enter our country. They also support removing the European Commissioners, which pushes policies on other European Union countries like Greece.
“The ‘Greek Renaissance’ is neither right nor left. It is a deeply democratic movement, as befits Greek ideals. It seeks real democracy as taught by our ancient ancestors. The governments until today sacrificed our national sovereignty for petty political purposes and personal interests, to unelected European authorities.”
